moment of joy when I finished my Maths tutorial without any help at all. we're talking H2 Maths here.

yep, I always knew I had it in me to solve mathematical problems ^^
I see hope for Y6 Maths lol. Maybe I won't be so far behind my classmates anymore! (well, hopefully)

ok yah back to work.

I really think I'm going fluff-brained.

But anyway, OP has been over for several days already and everyday I wake up at 10am and think hehe some groups are having their OP now while I'm sleeping at home. I think DH011 could have been muchmuchmuch better when we presented, it was one of our worst presentations but I guess it was still fine, which made us an average group but we're all disappointed cuz we knew that we were capable of so much more! But it's over and that's it.

just realised today that my application for it was successful! :)))

I'm really happy but it means that I really really have to work super hard next year, cuz I'll be taking 4H2+H3 art and one of my H2s is art which means coursework which means a lotttttttt of stuff! In fact we're starting on coursework already sigh. Must think of ideas! Although I already know that I want to work with flowers... Though I'm not sure if I want to paint or make a 3D model or what.

Anyway I found out that I'm nowhere near the 50th percentile for H2 Maths and Chem which is pretty dreadful >_> Need to revise like crazy this holidays.

... which I realise is really packed for me. Holiday assignments (including coursework) notwithstanding, I already have guitar (Resonate concert) and N.E.mation taking up at least half my hollidays I think :( 3 weeks of N.E.mation and practicing guitar to master the songs by the time Resonate concert rolls around... Not to mention coursework. JC life sucks :(


The best thing that happened in the past few days was the submission of WR. Thank god that's over although this means that we're now facing OP :( Script memorising, here we go!

Taecyeon and Wooyoung are so cute and I'm so angry at the ending :( Why not Taecyeon whywhywhy :( Ok very belated fan hahahaha but I think Taecyeon is super cute heeheeeeeeeeee and yeah I think PW has overworked my brains I sound so fluff-brained now!

Got back my Art promo results: B. Very dissatisfied cuz I expect so, so much more out of myself for Art.


I've been reading, starting on that mega pile of books I'd gotten during the Borders closing sale. But today, I decided to go through Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit by Jeanette Winterson (for next year's lit) and it's such a lovely book.


I've also been trying to get through Murakami's short stories but I realised they're even more abstract than his novels and so hard to understand :(

And I think, I want to explore the theme of fragility for my coursework next year. I want to play with tissue and roses and flowers. And it came to me that fragility is something that I can consider doing.


I want to go out and take pretty photographs- my camera is sitting unused in the cabinet. My dad's camera is sitting unused. There's this restlessness in me that demands to be released in the form of pretty photos. I think taking pretty photos makes me happy. Just like painting, or drawing a beautiful rose fills me with such simple joy.

I want to go to:
Botanic Gardens cuz it's so flowery :)
Those shophouses all along East Coast Rd for their charm
and other places I cannot think of, offhand.

Hello.

I am back after a long break. Promos, you see.
Or rather, that predominated all other reasons.

There were others. N.E.mation 6. A funeral. Moving house. All these converged at an extremely inopportune time. Not to mention, there was art final due somewhere along the way.

So this is the first time in quite a while that I've really been able to relax and take a breather.
Well, N.E.mation 6 throughout the Sep hols was actually a break in itself cuz all 7 of us never even bothered to study, just immersed ourselves in the world of striving to beat the others to get to the top. We sacrificed our studies, took a gamble, and, both teams came ahead- we won that toss. But we had to pay for that. The 1 week Sep hols spent at NYP was a suspended reality for us, and then it ended; we had to face the reality of mugging, and sleepless nights, and just going crazy.

It has been a hectic time, and I'm glad it is finally over :)

I've been living in separate realities for the past 4 weeks, I think. The first was the N.E.mation one; the second was coming back to school to face 'true' reality, the third was the study break and promos itself- facing the art people and studying together; the fourth was rushing out art final. The other day after Chem, I went to the art room and stayed there from 12 to 8pm just trying to rush my prep board and when I came out at 3+pm, I was actually surprised to find people in the corridors ._____.



Call me weird but I actually feel so empty after promos cuz there's nothing to do. Like I've been building up the momentum to study and promos are over just like that but I still feel like studying. Terrifying.

so who's wrong this time? ):
